Health Care Assistant – Ilford

Full-time, permanent contract

£23,000 (£26,800 in London) + mileage allowance

£500 bonus upon completion of probation

Bionical Solutions are a UK and US based healthcare business delivering care to patients in their own homes.

Our services are rapidly growing across the UK and we need Health Care Assistants like you to join us on our renal dialysis service where you’ll be known as a Renal Technician.

So, what is a Renal Technician role at Bionical Solutions?

Day to day, you will be;

· Visiting patients in their homes to support them with their dialysis needs

· Connecting, disconnecting and setting-up peritoneal dialysis machines

· Performing general health checks including blood pressure etc.

· Supporting the patient and building a professional relationship

· The working week is covered over 40 hours scheduled between Monday to Sunday, 7am to 10pm. The shifts are allocated on a 2 week rolling rota. We offer full time and part time hours

Full training is provided via an all expenses 5 day training course in Derby with state of the art facilities whereby you will be shown how the equipment works.

Who you are;

· Empathetic towards patients and a desire to provide patient care

· NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience. For those wishing to excel their career in healthcare, we can also provide access to NVQ level 2 certification and career progression

· The ability to follow instructions and process

· Any Clinical skills e.g. phlebotomy, cannulation, stoma care and catheterisation are desirable but not essential as full training is provided

· A UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle is essential in order to travel to patients locally and within an hours commute from your home location
