Machine Minder - Food Production

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Bernard Matthews are looking for experienced and skilled Machine Minders to join the team at Great Witchingham on a permanent contract.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Supporting the shift and department manager
• Maintaining and checking the production lines
• Ensuring product quality and specifications are compliant
• Filling out paperwork accurately
• Following Health and Safety procedures
• Ensure optimal efficiency of production
• Ensure quality is controlled
• Following all Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Delivering KPI objectives
• Ensure effective communication within the team

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as a Machine Minder
• Previous experience in manufacturing
• Previous experience within the food industry
• Good level of written and spoken English
• HACCAP awareness and compliance
• Food Hygiene and Safety awareness
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to self-motivate

The working hours are 4 on 4 off shift | 06.00 - 18.00 (1 hour unpaid break)

Basic rate £12.59 per hour

Free transport available from Norwich or Great Yarmouth
