TRAINING MANAGER

Bernard Matthews (Food Production)

Based in Derby – DE23 8NT

Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm

As the Site Training Lead, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Creating and executing the site training strategy
• Working with both functional and production leaders to ensure training needs are met for their groups
• Engaging with suppliers to identify suitable training courses
• Working with site employees at all levels to progress the site training plan

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Bernard Matthews requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Proven leadership in creating and executing training plans in a manufacturing or similar environment which encompasses a blend of compliance-based and skill-based training
• Experience in leading a small team
• An understanding of how individuals learn in many different ways
• The ability to influence employees and navigate resistance to change
• The ability to communicate to all levels within the organisation
• An understanding of food manufacturing (ideal but not essential)
• CIPD qualified (ideal)
