A lot of our customers are parents buying their sons or daughters their first car or families looking for a reliable and economical car. And at our garage we also offer repairs, servicing and MOT

Based on the outskirts of Cullompton, just off the M5, we are a family run business that pride ourselves on providing exceptional secondhand cars for sale and customer care, whilst ensuring our customers vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.

Due to an ongoing increase in work we are now looking to recruit a Mechanics Assistant to join the business and assist in ongoing growth for the future.

The roll of Mechanics Assistant at Beechcroft Motors requires a candidate who is very hard working and enthusiastic. Firsthand experience of replacing cam belts, brake components and completing vehicles services with oil changes is desired but not essential as full training is given. Knowledge and experience in using a diagnostics machine is preferential, and a full driving license is a bonus.

Each day working with us will be different, with a few tasks which need taking care of daily.

Duties to include, but not limited to;

- Completing mechanical works to cars in Preparation

- Vehicle Servicing

- Maintaining a clean and tidy workshop

- Helping with all other duties that are in evolved in the running of a busy car dealership.

The right candidate will have a genuine interest in cars, with an eagerness to learn. Customers often stop by unannounced to take a look at our cars, so a friendly, professional and approachable manner is a must.

This new position is offered as a full time roll, with additional hours available depending on the weekly workload including Saturdays.

The successful applicant will receive a suitable houry wage inline with experience and age, free car parking and access to further training opportunities.

The position is available immediately.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £9.50-£15.00 per hour
