Role Overview & Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for someone who would like the opportunity to join us as a junior baker and packer.

The junior baker and packer role will be 5 days a week, with Friday and Saturday off.

Shift pattern is as follows;
-Sunday - 2pm - 10pm
-Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday - 2:45am - 10:45pm.

The position is a 37.5 hour/week position based on hourly pay with all overtime paid.

Baker position details:

-Producing a variety of baked goods from scratch mixes

-Inspecting and examining products to ensure that they meet quality standards

- Packing and labeling baked goods according to established procedures

- Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of baked goods and packaging materials

- Operating equipment such as a flow wrapper and a label machine

- Cleaning and maintaining work areas and equipment

- Collaborating with other bakery staff to ensure that orders are completed accurately and on time

- Following safety procedures and adhering to sanitation guidelines.

Previous bakery experience would be desirable, but training can be given.

Salary: £9.50-£10.50 per hour
