Hotel Receptionist front of house - full time

Role Overview & Responsibilities

What we are looking for.

The Bear Hotel is a 3* coaching inn with 36 bedrooms and 6 individual self catering apartments and Cottage. We are situated in the heart of the Market Town of Cowbridge.

We are looking for a keen and enthusiastic receptionist to join our growing team,

You will have a pleasant and personal manner at all times, developing both guest and working relations with other team members and the general public.

Be able to ensure that all guests receive prompt, friendly and efficient service in accordance with hotel procedures.

You will use your skills to maximise all revenue opportunities by up selling at all times

Check guests in and out of hotel, ensuring friendly and efficient service, promoting all the hotel and sister hotel facilities.

Follow all the daily tasks set out by the Reception manager using Reslynx reservations system and our online booking agents.

Have an eye for detail to pre-allocate rooms to guests, taking into consideration any special requirements and requests.

The shift patterns are 7am - 3pm / 3pm - 11pm and include weekends and bank holidays.

Part-Time 3 shifts per week £11.00 ph

Full- time 5 shifts Salary is £22,880 40 hours a week full time hours.
