In-house Paralegal

Role Overview & Responsibilities

A growing franchise business providing specialist services in the UK are looking for a paralegal to join their legal team of 3.

The Role:

• Drafting and negotiating new franchise agreements, including carrying out necessary background checks on new franchise owners;
• Managing the sale (share and asset) of existing franchises;
• Effecting changes to existing franchises (side letters etc.);
• Keeping the precedent bank up to date;
• Ownership of key databases; and
• Assisting with a full range of legal tasks from time to time such as research, drafting documents etc.

This role would be best suited to a paralegal with prior commercial contracts experience and confidence in negotiating new agreements. This is not a training contract opportunity but you will gain commercial experience in a growing business with a great culture, and you'll be involved with an organisation who are really helping vulnerable people.
