Role Overview & Responsibilities

Batch'd are a rapidly expanding local business specialising in selling high quality locally sourced bakery items. Due to expansion, we now have a number of opportunities for experienced delivery drivers. We are looking for capable and hardworking individuals to join the team.

We are looking for a reliable delivery driver who is concerned with transporting products in a safe, timely manner. The delivery driver will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. You should be willing to work as part of the delivery team in order to ensure that the deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct location.

To succeed as a delivery driver, you should be polite and prompt. You should be thorough in ensuring deliveries are properly fulfilled, committed to work safety, and passionate about satisfying clients. The job does require early morning starts between 2am and 4am and does include weekends.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to locations in a safe, timely manner.
• Reviewing collections before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete.
• Loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Providing prompt service
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Ensuring the van is kept clean and tidy inside and out.

Delivery Driver Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record.
• Experience may be required or preferred.
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules and transportation laws.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items for extended periods.
• Attention to detail.
