Role Overview & Responsibilities

Barnardo's Apna Project offers a wide range of support services to families who have children with a disability and young people living in the city of Glasgow.

Our aim is to enhance the quality of life for a significant number of children and young people. We do this by improving the access local community currently have to existing services in the city.

We are currently recruiting for Assistant Project Workers who have experience in social care to help us achieve this.

You will be required to register for our Care at Home Service with the SSSC. Suitable qualifications in order to register would be

  • National Certificate in Early Education and Childcare at SCQF Level 6.
  • SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF Level 6

Training will be considered to obtain qualification SVQ level 2
