Role Overview & Responsibilities

Barham Care Centre are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work alongside our established team.

Duties include.....

Being able to assist with cooking nutritious meals for residents in absence of Head Chef or Second Chef.

Catering for varied diets.

Being able to bake cakes.

Kitchen Assistant - washing up and general cleaning to maintain a hygienic kitchen to a 5 star rating.

Assisting with Tea & Snacks in morning and afternoon

Have an understanding of food hygiene. (training can be provided)

Being able to communicate with residents and family.

The individual must be friendly and trustworthy as will be working with vulnerable adults.

Shifts 8 or 12 hours.

Every other weekend off.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 12-48 per week

Salary: £9.50-£10.20 per hour
