Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are opening our first variety store in Canterbury and looking for an experienced Store Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, including customer service, sales, inventory management, staff training and development, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have excellent leadership and communication skills, rich experience in ordering merchandise, a strong understanding of retail operations, and the ability to motivate and inspire their team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement store policies and procedures.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the store.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate staff members.
• Monitor inventory levels and order merchandise as needed.
• Manage budgets and financial records.
• Develop marketing strategies to increase sales.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
