Our client, a busy, family run care home based in Bournemouth, is looking to recruit temporary Care Assistants.

There is a friendly atmosphere in this home, with the busy team looking after 29 residents over the age of 50. The home prides itself on providing an ideal place for people to enjoy, relax and recuperate, as well as make new friends. Your days will be filled with laughter and great stories, with no two days being the same.

Close to local amenities and public transport.

Job Role:

· Assist residents with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting

· Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming and changing bed sheets

· Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of residents – including using manual handling equipment such as hoists

· Accompany residents to medical appointments

· Observe, monitor and record resident’s physical and emotional wellbeing, and promptly report any changes to senior staff

· Encourage residents to participate in social and recreational activities

To be successful in your application you MUST have at least 6 months experience within a social care setting and be currently living in the UK

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 2 months
Part-time hours: 24 per week

Salary: £10.42-£15.00 per hour
