Hygiene Supervisor

Role Overview & Responsibilities

At Aulds we pride ourselves as being one of Scotland’s leading and longest established day-fresh bakeries and we are looking for a Hygiene Supervisor to look after hygiene operations and continue our high standards of operation in our Greenock bakery.

This position reports directly to the Production Manager and works closely with the Forepersons, the Technical Manager and Engineers and is directly responsible for the personnel within the Hygiene Team and in carrying out the duties of the hygiene team. These include implementing the laid down cleaning schedules for the bakery, adhering to all COSSH and Health and safety requirements, ensuring that all personnel are provided with the necessary workwear in the factory and that the usage of cleaning materials is controlled and monitored as required.

Previous experience in hygiene or hygiene supervision is preferable but not essential.

The working hours are 39 hours, over Monday – Saturday, 5 days out of 6 with various daily hours.

This is a supervisory role and hence requires experience in managing and motivating personnel.
