Autotrade Southwest are a used car supermarket in Berkeley Heath, Gloucestershire.

We stock a range of vehicles from high-end luxury sports and SUVs to every day runarounds.

VALETER/CAR DETAILER

Full-Time, Permanent Position

5 or 6 Days a Week 9am-6pm (Daily including Saturdays and optional additional work on Sundays)

Due to increasing demand, we are looking to recruit two additional Valeters/ Detailers to work at our Used Car Dealership in Berkeley, Glos (GL13).

You will be joining an experienced and friendly team, so being a team player with a can-do attitude is important.

About the Position

· Completing a full detail on our vehicles, including washing preparation, machine polishing, coating application and interior cleaning.

· Applying high performance valeting products across paint, glass, trim, rubber, and engine.

· Assisting with general housekeeping in the Detailing area, such as topping up of products and materials, sweeping up, etc.

· Managing valeting product levels - always ensuring ample stock, without being overstocked.

· Moving vehicles around the site

· Complying to Health & Safety policies

· Consistently identifying new ways to improve efficiency.

· Consistently achieving daily volume targets.

The candidates we want!

· A minimum of 1 year’s previous experience within detailing and/or valeting and 1 years driving experience, though will accept 1 year of commercial cleaning experience as well.

· Experience using machine polishing tools and other detailing/valeting related tools and accessories.

· Excellent time keeping skills.

· The ability to work well as part of a growing team.

· Flexibility.

· Can-do attitude

· Full UK Driving licence

· Due to insurance restrictions, candidates will need to have at 4 years driving experience.

· We regularly have walk-ins, so you will also need to be able to greet customers who are looking around and may have questions.

· Due to our location, you will need your own transport.
