Role Overview & Responsibilities

Career
You've started your career in asset management but want more exposure to investments. People who have held this role previously have gone on to work in our portfolio management teams. This is a great opportunity to learn our business via the investment operations team and open up some career pathways.

About the role
Reporting to a Senior Analyst in our London office you will help support all teams across the business by providing administrative support with all transfers, trades, and investments for our high-net-worth clients. Working with our in-house project team to support the launch of our new customer propositions and our own platform.

Accountabilities

  • Support the administration of Corporate Actions
  • Building and releasing trades as part of a central desk
  • Support any cash allocations and cash withdrawals
  • Assist with the administration of asset transfers
  • Assist with raising client fees on a quarterly basis and investigate any queries
  • Facilitate the set-up of new assets with service providers
  • Carry out daily reconciliations and investigate anomalies

Skills and Experience

  • A good understanding of trading and required Corporate Actions
  • Good understanding of CASS processes
  • Experience using one of the following: XPlan, Nexus, Pershing, IRESS or similar (just one is enough, you don't need all)
  • Experience using any OMS system
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel (Pivot tables, Vlook ups)
  • An understanding of reconciliation processes and how to spot anomalies
