Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions team at Aston is seeking to appoint a full-time Marketing Officer. Reporting to the Marketing Manager for the College of Health and Life Sciences, the role holder will support the development of the College’s marketing activities with a key focus on student recruitment, for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

The College of Health and Life Sciences holds an established position as a leading provider of health and life sciences education and research, and offers a range of courses in the areas of audiology, biosciences, neuroscience, medicine, optometry, pharmacy and psychology, and our newly launched BSc Nursing course which launches in 2023.

This role is diverse from a marketing mix point of view as the role will undertake a range of activities to support the marketing and recruitment of students to the College of Health and Life Sciences.

The successful candidate will ideally have a background in marketing, have a degree in marketing, media or communications or a related subject, will be experienced in delivering marketing campaigns to support course recruitment, have experience of web CMS processes, and experience of writing engaging copy for a range of different audiences/stakeholders.
