Role Overview & Responsibilities

Ashton Gate is looking for match day Safety Stewards that can be proud, passionate and dedicated to the venue and the vision of Ashton Gate.

Match days are lively and fast-paced, and our stewards are here to ensure everyone enjoys our busy events in a safe and controlled environment. Candidates need to be diligent, confident and have excellent communication skills with plenty of initiative.

The role requires the candidate to be able to commit to shifts that are dictated by the Sporting fixtures. There are around 45 fixtures a season (1-2 shifts per week, five hours per shift) and these usually fall on late weekdays 5pm – 10pm, Saturday/Sundays 12pm-5pm, but shifts might change depends on kick off time + additional shifts on cup games.

We need employees who are proud to work for Ashton Gate and who will work hard to make match days a fun, friendly and smooth experience for everyone.

Applicants should be:

• Positive, outgoing and confident in dealing with members of the public
• Confident in assisting people with accessible needs in either car parks or within the stadium.
• Able to work well under pressure
• Polite and customer-focussed
• Experience not needed, but welcome

• 12 hour shift
