Care Assistant
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential criteria in relation to this post. Successful applicants will be required to register with the NISCC.
Duties of this post include:
· Providing personal care to residents;
· Assisting residents with eating and drinking at mealtimes;
· Assisting residents to be as independent as possible;
· Maintaining appropriate records in relation to care provided;
· Liaising with nursing staff and members of the wider multidisciplinary team as required in relation to resident care.
Shift times available are:
8am – 8pm
8am – 2pm
Applications are invited from applicants with no previous experience. However in the event of a large number of applications being received previous experience may form part of the shortlisting criteria.
Ashbrook Care Home is a 68 bed Care Home with 59 nursing beds and 9 residential beds located in spacious grounds just a few miles from Junction 14 of the M1 motorway.
