Role Overview & Responsibilities

This position involves hand-drawing caricatures of guests at Thorpe Park.

As a Caricature Artist for Artistic Licence UK you will benefit from training and coaching by experienced caricature artists. You will also learn skills in Special Effects Face Painting and other artistic services.

Once you have learned these amazing skills, they're yours for life! You would also build important skills in customer service, artisanship, and salespersonship by working one-to-one with your customers.

KEY SKILLS:

Experience in drawing caricatures &/or portraits is required. You must be outgoing, energetic and willing to learn exciting new skills.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Temporary Contract. Start date: March until November 2023.
• Hourly rate of £11 per hour that includes a £0.5/hr contract completion bonus. We also provide a sales bonus after your probationary period, if you achieve good sales, you should be able to earn in the region of £100 - £130 or more per day, on peak days.
• Weekend work required throughout the contract (Saturdays or Sundays), with additional hours (up to 40hrs per week) during school holidays.
• Free training in the highly-skilled art of Caricaturing

Contract length: 8 months
Part-time hours: 6 per week
