Garden Centre Assistant - Seasonal

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are a small, friendly, independent Garden Centre, in Redbourn, near to Junction 9 of the M1 in Hertfordshire.

Due to a steady growth over the recent years, we are looking for dedicated seasonal staff to assist in this fast-paced business. The right candidate will be helping throughout the business so must be willing to be involved where needed.

The garden centre has a very broad customer base. We supply to both domestic and trade customers and sell a comprehensive range of quality plants and garden centre stock. We sell trade supplies to landscapers & builders.

The successful applicant will be expected to assist in all areas of the garden centre.

Horticultural experience and a good plant knowledge is essential. A formal horticultural qualification is an advantage.

Please note that heavy lifting is required, you will be expected to assist domestic and trade customers to load their vehicles with purchased goods.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: starting at £10.42 per hour (depending on experience)
