VACANCY: Powder Coater

ABOUT US:

Aqua Gas Manufacturing Limited is part of the AVK Group; who are market leaders in the design, manufacture and supply of valves, pipe fittings, hydrants and flow control equipment to the Water, Waste Water, Oil and Gas industries throughout the world.

We are currently on a recruitment drive for Production Operatives on a permanent basis to join our Powder Coating team on site at Corby.

Powder Coaters are a vital part of our manufacturing process and play a key role; producing paint finishes using different paints and methodologies to produce a variety of finished products. This is an exciting opportunity for a production individual skilled within paint spraying and / or powder coating.

Joining a multi-skilled production team, this fantastic role offers that little bit more. Not only will you undertake typical duties we will train you across other functions in the business, meaning you will become an integral part of our team.

You will feel the ownership of your work from the beginning, be given exciting assignments, lead initiatives, and take ownership and responsibility. We are looking for someone who can ensure production targets are met, waste is minimised and product quality levels are kept.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

· Powder coating and spraying products to the desired standard

· Maintaining and setting up the required equipment such as guns, pumps, and paint lines.

· Maintaining and operating powder coat ovens

· Use a handgun to cover any unpainted / touch ups needed products

· Recording powder usage

· Prep and clean powder drums and spray booth and all pipes and hoppers

· Fettling, cutting, bending, gluing, and swaging of products

· Preparing paints ready to be sprayed

· Setting up the paint spraying gun

· Quality checking of parts ensuring the correct finish has been applied

ABOUT YOU:

· Experienced Powder Coater

WORKING HOURS:

Double Days Monday–Friday rotating shifts

· 0600-1400

· 1400-2200
