Cafe team member

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for an excellent and hard working team member to join our fantastic team at Apple Tree Children's Cafe!

20-30 hours available during the week and weekend across our two sites in Herne Hill and Peckham Rye.

The right candidate will be:

* Passionate about being around kids!

* Have a passion for coffee and food.

* Have experience of working in a busy cafe or hospitality venue

* Be barista trained (desirable but we also offer full training!)

* Have a warm, friendly and cheerful demeanour

* Have a great sense of humour

* Have great team working skills

* Be reliable, self-motivated and productive

You will be responsible for making and serving high quality coffee, preparing and serving menu foods (sandwiches & toasties), and general cleanliness and tidiness of the cafe.

Salary: Based on experience

Required experience:

• Roughly 6 month to 1 year hospitality experience

Desired but not essential:

• Previously worked with children, has previous experience of child care.
• Roughly 6 month to 1 year Barista
• Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

Salary: £10.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
• Weekends only

Experience:

• Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
• customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: One location
