Role Overview & Responsibilities

Andy File Associates are working on behalf of our client as a recruitment agency with regards this long term contract position / maternity co

Accounts Assistant required for well established award winning, market leading Sheffield business with a turnover of 3 to 4 million.

Working very closely with the Financial Director.

Duties and responsibilities to include:

• Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger
• Processing of VAT, CIS returns and Instrastat
• Preparing sales invoices
• Job costings and allocation from timesheets
• Processing expenses and credit cards
• Assisting in other areas of the business overseeing mobile phone contracts, mot’s etc

Person specification

• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to multitask
• Flexible and adaptable
• Very strong attention to detail
• Good knowledge of excel
• Accountancy package: Quick books

Contract Length : 9 Months

Starting : Beginning Mid May 2023

Benefits:

Holidays: 22 days holiday plus stats

Hours: 9am – 5.30pm with an hour for lunch. Potential of some flexibility on hours
