Role Overview & Responsibilities

Job Title: Business Support – Finance Administration

Job Description No.:

Reporting to: Admin Supervisor

Provide support to the company’s financial activities in conjunction with overseas finance management team(s)

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Raise Sales Invoices and Credit Notes using Sage 50
  • Raise Purchase Orders as required and process accordingly
  • Purchase Invoices processing and reconciliation of Purchase Ledger Accounts
  • Check up all sales and purchase invoices for compliance with local accounting and taxation codes
  • Processing of Payroll & VAT Returns in conjunction with External provider
  • PDC/Remittance Notes maintenance
  • Creditors / Debtors Update and AR collection.
  • Assist in Chasing Unbilled Orders for Invoicing
  • Maintain and reconcile all Bank, Petty cash and Cash Accounts
  • Process Goods Received Notes in Sage 50. Assist with off-stocking.
  • Tax Payment Control and assistance to tax accountants/auditors
  • Manage Suppliers activation/de-activation in Sage
  • Expense File maintenance
  • Any other specific tasks allocated by Senior Management
  • Comply with the company policy on PPE as well as fulfilling his / her obligations under statutory health and safety law.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND PERSONALITY REQUIREMENTS

  • High-school or University degree
  • Thorough understanding of Accounting processes
  • Knowledge of Local Legislation; Tax Laws, Accounting Laws, Labour codes, Foreign Exchange Laws and Regulations, and other operations related to offshore transactions.
  • Min two years of experience in accounting and taxation or accredited training from reputed institution
  • Knowledge of Office Administration and document making processes
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team player
  • Excellent written, verbal and listening skills
  • Attention to details and high level of accuracy
  • Very effective organizational and time management skills;
  • Fluent in English

COMPETENCIES

  • Accounting and taxation training from reputed institution.
  • Experienced in using Sage 50 software & Microsoft Sharepoint
  • Computer skills including the MS-Excel, MS-Word or equivalent, Accounts and e-mail at a highly proficient level.

Salary: £20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
