Warehouse Operatives

Role Overview & Responsibilities

AM2PM Recruitment is looking for Warehouse Operatives to work for our client who is located in Trafford Park.

This company is the ideal solutions partner for multiple markets in today’s ever-demanding operational landscape. Who, since 1974, have been delivering electrical components and related solutions to the UK and other markets.

Duties Include:
Assisting with unloading or loading of vehicles during inbound and outbound deliveries by hand or correct warehouse equipment.

Stock checking, stock rotation and stock replenishment

Accurately picking stock via a handheld scanner

Carefully packing products for dispatch using the correct materials

Make sure stock is perfectly stacked and secure to reduce the risk of damaged product or injury to other operatives

Responsible for working as part of a team

General tidying and cleaning of the warehouse

Any other reasonable duties as required

Work to company key performance indicators (KPI’s)

Follow stringent health and safety procedures

Raise issues or near-misses via the ticket system

Complete all required training and safety briefings as requested

Ideal Candidate:
Previous warehouse experience

Comfortable with standing for long periods of time

Able to lift and carry finished products of a minimum of 15kg

Willing to learn and develop skills

Reliable

Pay Rate and Shifts:
The start salary is £9.50

Roles may lead to permanent after 12 weeks.

Shift: 9am – 5pm (Monday – Friday)
