Role Overview & Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and suitably experienced individual to work as a Health Care Assistant within the services in Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

Their wards are looking for a compassionate and person- centred experienced Healthcare support worker with an ability to work in a flexible manner to meet the demands and needs of the service.

The successful applicant would be expected to work as part of the team undertaking the assessment, care and treatment of patients experiencing an acute mental health crisis, working in a recovery-orientated manner towards the ultimate discharge of the patient.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

In order to be a successful Healthcare Assistant in our team you will:

• Must have at least 6 months minimum experience
• DBS must be on the update service
• Must be a driver
• Must have right to work - WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIPS AND IF YOU ARE A STUDENT ON A 20 HOUR VISA YOU ARE NOT ELLIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE
• Face to face mandatory training (We can organise training for you if you don't have any)
• Face to face PMVA training (We do not accept MAPA for this role)
• Have experience working within a mental health setting
• Must have immunisations
