QA / QC SMT and RMA Product Inspector

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Alpha EMS Corporation, a leading Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider located in Fremont California is seeking qualified candidates for QA/SMT and RMA Inspector.

Should have IPC-610

Responsible for the final inspection of finished PCBA’s to confirm compliance to the Alpha EMS internal Manufacturing Process Instructions (M.P.I.) & to each customer’s specification and to their requirements to the IPC-A-610 Standard e.g., level 1, 2 or 3.

§ Documenting their final test results in Alpha EMS AQTrax data base.

§ Basic computer and math skills

§ Documentation & reporting skills

§ Up-to-date knowledge of Industry standards, IPC-A-Standard and best practices.

§ Knowledge of AOI, Flying Probe and functional testing is a plus but not mandatory.

§ Teamwork and collaboration

§ Comfortable sitting, standing or walking for long periods of time.

§ Lifting product 20 lbs. or less

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED

Familiar with SMT process, rework & testing

2 Years’ experience with PCBA Inspection

Use of a Microscope @ 4X Magnification

IPC-A-610 Standard Training & Certification is a plus

Shift: Day Shift 7:00 am to 3:30 PM

Some overtime will be needed as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 per hour
