Role background

Agency Hackers is the UK's leading independent agency community. We run events – online and in person – that bring the marketing, advertising and creative community together.

We’ve been around since 2017, but still a lot of people haven’t heard of us. We’re hiring a Sales Person to help fix that!

As our Sales Person you will be responsible for growing our membership, and making sure our live conferences are full and buzzing.

Responsibilities:

Acquire new members: You will be responsible for reaching out to potential members, understanding their needs, and explaining how Agency Hackers can help them grow their businesses.

Generate leads: You will use a variety of methods to generate leads, including cold outreach, social media, and networking.

Grow our audience. You will be responsible for growing our mailing list by signing up relevant agencies to receive updates and resources.

Filling our live events: Every month we run targeted events for agency leaders. You will encourage the right people to attend the right events.

Follow up with non-members: After events, you will follow up with non-members who attended to encourage them to become members.

Requirements:

• A passion for sales and building relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
• Experience in sales or a related field is preferred but not required.
• A strong interest in the agency industry and a desire to help agency owners and leaders grow their businesses.
• Confidence. You must be comfortable making outbound phone calls and speaking confidently with leads

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £32,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
