SPAR Food To Go (Philpotts) Bakery Assistants

Min 18/24 Hours P/W - possibly more hours when the store needs.

Various shifts available, Mon-Fri, between 7am & 7pm, Sat-Sun between 7am & 6pm

Our SPAR store in Brindley Place, Birmingham is having a refurb and will reopen selling new products from our Philpotts range. We therefore have an exciting opportunity for a number of permanent SPAR Food To Go (Philpotts) Assistants who like to have fun working with a team and is passionate about offering excellent service and standards to our customers. We are looking for people who are motivated, friendly, hands-on and enjoy working in retail.

Some Responsibilities:

• To deliver customer service in a friendly, professional and efficient manner·
• The preparing of a variety of food items to the highest standards, in order to meet customer demand
• Ensuring that all areas of the shop and food products are displayed in a clean, tidy and attractive manner
• Seeking to maximise the sales and profitability within the store
• Working as a team with the Store Manager and other Team Members
• Reports all customer complaints to manager on duty
• To comply with relevant legislation and health and food safety responsibilities as defined in the induction period and training
