Role Overview & Responsibilities

At AES Smart we’re here to empower people to transition to cleaner energy and are on a mission to help people decarbonize their lives.

AES Smart are a meter equipment manager (MEM) working on behalf of some of the biggest energy suppliers in the UK.

As a MEM ( Meter Equipment Manager ), it is our responsibility to manage client meter points (both gas and electric metering systems) and the industry data alongside this, with one of our main activities being the installation of smart meters in domestic premises for our clients.

As a result of our business growing, we have moved into other renewable energy areas such as electric vehicle (EV) charging points, solar panels, and heat pumps!

Due to this expansion, we are looking for a highly motivated new team member to join us and are currently recruiting for a Junior Data Analyst.

The purpose of this role is to help manage and maintain data and data processes in all areas of the business. You will assist the data team having to communicate company goals and deadlines and manage performance. The role is based from our Enfield Office.

Key Responsibilities

·Help develop and implement procedures for effective data management.

· Assist in procedures for data sharing.

·Assist staff members in the daily use of data systems.

·Regularly monitor and evaluate information and data systems that could affect analytical results.

·Assess system performance and make recommendations for software, hardware, and data storage improvements.

·Assist with recognizing and upholding digital security systems to protect delicate information.

Skills - ( Some of the below please )

·Educated to degree level (IT related preferable)

·SQL

·Microsoft Excel

·Microsoft Power BI

·Problem solving

·Organization and Time management

·Detail focussed.

·Analyse, model and interpret data.

·Excellent levels of attention to detail, to spot anomalies or any arears that need attention.

-Data Visualisation skills

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Enfield: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
