Location

Bernard Weatherill House,Croydon. Once fully trained canidate will be able to work from home 1-2 days a week.

Description

This specific role will be in the Early Years team in Education who oversee the childcare provider submissions.
Having just migrated to a new IT system (Synergy) this local authority need additional support with data cleansing and providing additional capacity within the team for the initial term of running this new system.

Skill set required:
  • Proficient in using standard MS Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel)
  • Experience in using a case management application (e.g. CRM, or core line of business application holding customer/client information and the transactions/services they have requested)
  • Financially literate - the transactions and data relate to estimate and actual payments
  • Attention to detail
  • Any previous experience of using Synergy - Education Management System - a preference but not a show-stopper
  • Being confident in their communications - role will include dealing with internal and external officers and suppliers who provide childcare services to the council

Role Purpose and Role Dimensions:

>To support the data cleansing and data improvement programme for the housing business systems team to ensure data migrated to the new incoming system is meaningful and fit for purpose.

>To ensure that the data quality of all information held is sufficient to produce appropriate performance and management information to inform the business.

Key Accountabilities and Result Areas:

>Data Cleansing

>Interpreting reports to inform data cleansing requirements.

>Supporting the completion of the Housing data cleansing programme in readiness for migration to a new case management system.

>Participating in the implementation of the data improvement programme.

>Analysis of data to identify issues and the proven ability to rectify as and when required.
