Infra Engineer (Cassandra)

Location: London or Swindon – hybrid 1-2 days per week in office

Term: to end of December 2023

Rate: up to £650 per day (inside IR35, via Umbrella Company)

Job Description:

Open Banking Datastax Cassandra maintenance and development. Currently working on certificate renewal changes, Datastax upgrade and the migration of EOSL Cisco M4 hardware,

• Role – Open Banking NoSQL database support engineer

• Skills and knowledge:

o Cassandra NoSQL databases

o Other NoSQL databases

o Relational databases

o Supporting, administering and maintaining database infrastructure

o Conducting changes on production environments within a highly available

infrastructure

• Experience:

o 10+ years working with multiple database technologies

o 5+ years working with NoSQL database technologies

o 5+ years working in a regulated industry

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months

Salary: Up to £650.00 per day

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Work Location: Hybrid remote in London
