Role Overview & Responsibilities

School-based teacher training programme - earn a salary whilst you train. AET is partnered with Ark Teacher Training to provide the very best training and start to your career as a teacher.

Working full-time in one of our schools as a Trainee Teacher, you'll also complete a PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) and gain your Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). You’ll be fully supported by your tutor, in-school coach, fellow trainees and weekly training sessions throughout your training year to ensure you have the tools you need to feel confident and prepared as you develop into a fantastic teacher.

Subjects Available: Maths, English, Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), Computing, Geography, Modern Foreign Languages (French / Spanish).

Tax-Free Bursaries of up to £27,000 or Scholarship of up to £29,000 are available (eligibility conditions apply) or Salary (Apprenticeship) options available (Unqualified Salary = £19,340 + 9k tuition fees included in package)

To be eligible for this position you must have or be studying towards a degree with at least grade 2.2 (or equivalent / predicted) and have GCSEs in English & Maths at grade C/4 (or equivalent). Subject eligibility will be dependent on A-levels or Degree Subject.
