Role Overview & Responsibilities

Continually improving customer focused & lowest "total cost" Logistic solutions and to substantiate ABP UK as the supplier of choice.

• Provide width, depth and succession for Group logistics management function.
• Allowing the continued expansion & business complexity to be successfully managed.
• Advising sites to achieve sustainable and consistent results via best practice.
• Continuous service and margin improvement through effective 3pl and returnable management techniques & discipline.
• To drive out all internal and 3pl exceptional risk & costs.
• Ensure department continuity of cover.
• Highly developed functional knowledge of FMCG Operations & Logistics best practice.
• Developed interpersonal, negotiating and persuasive skills.
• Well developed appreciation of the different components and trade offs required to sustain an efficient supply chain.
• Must have a resilient character and be able to work within agreed guidelines through to completion.
