Ride Operator - Miniature Train and Tractor Experience

Role Overview & Responsibilities

4 Kingdoms Adventure & Farm Park, located near Newbury, is seeking a passionate and friendly ride operator to join our team. As a Ride Operator - Miniature Train and Tractor Experience, you will be responsible for driving our tractor, train, and barrel trains, ensuring the safe and enjoyable experience of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive miniature train, tractor, and barrel trains to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for customers.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures during ride operations.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly and informative manner.
• Assist with the setup and operation of various farm-related events throughout the year.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor ride issues or incidents in a professional and efficient manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the ride area, including regular inspection and maintenance of vehicles.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to entertain and inform guests of all ages.
• Vigilant attitude towards safety, with the ability to adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Problem-solving skills to address minor ride issues or incidents.
• Responsible attitude towards ride operation and guest safety.
• Valid UK driving license for operating rides.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
• Willingness to assist with other farm-related activities, such as maintenance or school visits.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a positive and friendly demeanour.
