Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Shankly Hotel is looking for talented bartenders to work in our award winning Hotel.

Bartenders at The Shankly Hotel ensure guests have an unparalleled experience by providing fast, friendly service and being attentive to guests’ needs. They are the creative hub of the bar making sure that they leave guests and visitors wanting to experience more and more.

THE JOB ROLE CONSISTS OF

• Interacting with customers, take orders for drinks and snacks.
• Check identification of the guest to make sure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
• Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with hotel standard drink recipes.
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Ability to Sell or influence others for up selling and suggestive selling.
• Provide recommendations and suggestions to guest for choosing food and drinks.
• Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and Promotion.
• Maintain a clean working area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of glass doors and windows, etc. if required.
• Perform physical activities such as lifting and stooping.
• Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for Mixing beverages and serving guests.
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Perform Other duties as and when assigned by the hotel management.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16-24 per week

Salary: From £10.42 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends
