Following Kgotla celebrations in Serowe to mark the centenary, Khama described his father as someone who had tolerance for everyone in the country regardless of their political affiliation. Taking a nostalgic journey down memory lane, the former statesman said that there are many memorable events and times he spent with his late father. He said that in his early days, he would ask about a number of stories including one from his exile to the United Kingdom.President Ian Khama highlighted that his father believed a lot in the traditions and culture of Batswana.
