Albanism Society of Botswana has once again called on government to amend the constitution to include 2nd and 3rd generation of human rights.Speaking yesterday during International Albinism Awareness Day, Chairperson of Botswana Albinism Society Sergeant Yellowman Kgosietsile said many services are still not provided for albinos, and there are no laws that allow the society to seek further redress from government.
Kgosiitsile says they also face unemployment, which affects the livelihood of those living with albinism in the country.
The Chairperson pleaded with government to swiftly address all pending policies, which facilitate equal opportunity for albinos.
