‘DEPARTED TOPS’ MASOLE APPRECIATED FOR CONTRIBUTING TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF BATSWANA ARTISTS

The entertainment fraternity yesterday gathered at Botswana Craft in Gaborone to bid farewell to the late entertainment mogul Mosupi ‘Tops’ Masole through a light hearted memorial.
Musician Odirile “Vee Mampeezy” Sento described him as someone who was always in a jolly mood and liked positive energy even if his events did not go as planned.The Botswana Entertainment Promoters Association, BEPA patron Dikgang Makgalemele said Tops was a great man who was an advocate of the entertainment industry. He called on the minister to name one establishment or building after the late Tops.Tops’s burial is set for this Saturday at his home village of Mokubilo. Local Corner BW
As they shared their fondest memories of the late Tops, the speakers described him as a people’s person, someone who was loved by many. Tops is said to helped launch the careers of many entertainers. In his eulogy, DJ La Timmy said Tops treated him like his own son. He said he was the first performer under Tops’ music stable and his career skyrocketed as a result of their partnership.
