The Botswana Federation of Public Private and Parastatal Sector Unions (BOFEPUSU), says that following some assessments carried out by its regional teams, it has emerged that some schools are not COVID19 compliant.
BOFEPUSU Secretary General, Tobokani Rari told Yarona FM news yesterday, that there are signs of some schools that are not ready for the re-opening due to lack of compliance.
He noted that they had instructed their regional teams to inspect schools ahead of the re-opening of the second batch of students today.
Rari said they have therefore instructed their members from the non-complying schools not to risk their lives by entering such schools.
