THE MINISTER OF BASIC EDUCATION, FIDELIS MOLAO CALLS ON WELL-WISHERS TO ENSURE DONATED BOOKS ARE IN LINE WITH SCHOOL CURRICULUM

The Minister of Basic Education, Fidelis Molao in response to an ongoing debate on the shortage of stationary in schools that although government welcomes any form of assistance or donation to schools, there is a need to follow the right processes and procedures in delivering the initiative.
When making his deliberations on the State of the Nation Address yesterday, Molao said items donated to schools should be inline with the school curriculum and appropriate for the classes they are donated to.
The Minister expressed concern that some individuals and organizations have turned schools into dumping areas where they donate obsolete materials and equipment. He said his ministry will not allow that to continue.
