Police in Tlokweng will increase their visibility along the border line as ground border crossings open from the 1st of next month.

Tlokweng Police Station Commander, Unoziba Rari told Yarona FM news that they expect an influx of people leaving and entering the country from the 1st of December.
President Mokgweetsi Masisi last week announced a phased approach to opening borders and the resumption of air travel at three key airports: Sir Seretse Khama International Airport in Gaborone, Kasane, and Maun.
Meanwhile, all arriving travellers will be expected to meet the following requirements: Present a valid 72-hour negative covid-19 PCR result from time of departure Be screened for COVID-19 symptoms upon entry.
Undertake mandatory testing, possible isolation and quarantine if they are symptomatic Be in contact with local health authorities for 14 days.
