KWENENG DISTRICT PRIMARY SCHOOLS TO BENEFIT FROM BOCRA INTERNET CONNECTIVITY PROJECT

Kweneng district primary schools are set to be connected to the internet from next year.Kweneng District Council Chairman, Motlhophi Leo says all primary schools will be provided with internet from January next year.
The Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority (BOCRA) has embarked in a project aimed at facilitating Schools Computerisation and Internet Connectivity project in the Kweneng District.
The project will benefit a total of 119 schools across 62 villages, 97 of which are Primary schools with Local Area Networks supported by 10 Mbps Internet connectivity, computers and related peripherals and an IT Officer per school. Leo told Yarona FM news that this initiative, by BOCRA will enhance the quality of learning in the district.
