TWO CHOPPIES DIRECTORS SUE AN ACCOUNTING FIRM FOR MORE THAN 650 MILLION PULA

Choppies Chief Executive Officer Ramachandran Ottapathu and Executive Director Ismail Farouk are suing former auditors PwC for over 650 million Pula for not signing off on the company’s 2018 accounts, which led to a share price collapse, at the local bourse.
The duo filed the lawsuit at the High Court in Gaborone and the case will be heard next month.
Meanwhile, when speaking to Yarona FM news, Ramachandran Ottapathu could not give more details.
