The Botswana Police Service has called the nation to refrain from uttering threatening language amid rising gender-based violence in the country.
Police Deputy Spokesperson, Senior Superintendent Near Bagali says they are worried about consistent cases of threat to kill in and around the Gaborone area.
This comes after the Police have recorded 2 cases of threat to kill in Gaborone over the weekend.
In an interview with Yarona FM News yesterday, Bagali warned the public to refrain from uttering such words to other people as it is an offence punishable by law.
