FNB MOVES TO INVESTIGATE FRAUD SCARE

The First National Bank of Botswana is currently investigating the cause of the recent fraud scare in which some of their customers received multiple SMS notifications on failed transactions which they had not attempted to undertake.
FNBB Communications and PR Manager, Boga Chilinde-Masebu told YaronaFM news that the bank has applied the necessary data and security protocols to protect its customers’ information and funds.
She said they will communicate any developments directly with the impacted customers.Chilinde-Masebu advised customers to remain vigilant, reconcile their bank accounts and report immediately any suspicious activity in their accounts.
