Government will re-post and sponsor 151 students who had not completed their studies at the International Aviation Solution, a local pilot training school.
Some of these students had begun the 2-year pilot training programme as far back as 2013, but could not complete their studies within the set duration owing to course accreditation issues at the institution.
The Minister of Tertiary Education, Research, Science and Technology , Dr. Douglas Letsholathebe told Parliament yesterday that the students re-posting will be facilitated for completion of outstanding components of their training.
The minister said the students will be placed in local and possibly in regional and international institutions to complete their training. He could not give assurance as to when these students will resume their studies due to the COVID19 pandemic.
